Step 1
Read a Current row
What to do
Find the worker and the shift on the left. Then read status, paid units per week, rate, care hours per week, and vacation.
What it means
Alex Reed covers weekday mornings and evenings, 3 hours a day. Each of those rows is 15 paid hours and 15 care hours a week at $30.00. Paid units times the rate is the wage. Care hours are a different column. They feed the hours reading, not the wage.
Jordan Kim covers weekend mornings and evenings, 3 hours a day. Each of those rows is 6 paid hours and 6 care hours a week at $30.00.
Watch for this
One live-in day is not 24 care hours. This example has no live-in row. If more than 20 people are named, the employer-cost estimate is incomplete.
