Expenses are the recurring costs that are not wages. They are part of total cost and the operating balance. Desired reserve growth is not one of them.

  1. Step 1

    Read the Current amount

    What to do

Find the expense name, then the Current amount per month.

    What it means

Accounting / bookkeeping / payroll services is $141.26 a month. The verified limit is $300.00 a month, so this row is within the limit. Its Proposed amount is blank, so the cost stays the same.

    Watch for this

A blank Current cell is not proof of zero spending. Type 0 when the amount is really zero.

  2. Step 2

Change Proposed only when you mean to

    What to do

Leave Proposed blank to keep Current. Type a new amount to replace it. Type 0 to remove that recurring cost.

    What it means

The Change column is Proposed minus Current after blank cells inherit. In the example, every Proposed expense is blank, so the expense total does not move. Funding rate and the Care Team rates are what change the monthly totals.

  3. Step 3

    Read the policy note

    What to do

Read the note on the same row as the amount. It can say within the limit, at the limit, exceeds by an amount, prior approval required, or allowable with no fixed limit identified.

    What it means

The note uses the same maintained limit as the rest of the workbook. A figure that is still to verify is labeled that way. A limit is not permission to spend, and a fitting budget is not a policy approval.

Recruitment facilitation is $200.00 a month, which is at the verified $200.00 monthly limit. Its Proposed amount is blank.
